Our Opportunity

Due to continued growth, NEPEAN Engineering & Innovation are seeking an experienced Laser Operator who will work on a variety of projects, including producing one-off production components. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity, based in Narellan NSW. 

 Your duties will include but are not limited to: 

• Reading and understanding engineering drawings
• Setting and Operating Laser Cutting Machines
• Ensure all laser cutting is facilitated to correct drawing and quality standards.
• Conduct maintenance checks on machines

 The Right Person

To be considered for this opportunity, the right person will have:

• Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker
• Proficiency in operating TRUMPF Laser, CNC Laser Cutting machines, CNC Bending machines, MIG Welding and fitting assembly.
• A willingness to learn.
• The ability to take direction and follow instructions.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings.
• Forklift licence is essential
