It’s all about … the Company!

Here you'll design your own future. For the past 35 years, this Australian organisation has been supplying the built environment with sustainable, design-led acoustic finishes and textiles. Each project is bespoke, with design stakeholders, builder-installer customers and the sales & customer service team working together to deliver commercial solutions that look, feel and sound great. This business prides itself on being innovative and as such, they endeavour to offer staff every opportunity to succeed. You will be given the opportunity to participate in progressive training, which will provide knowledge both integral and beneficial to your role and career.

It’s all about … the Job!

In this role, you'll be the go-to person for responding to custom design project briefs from the Sales Team, crafting innovative product design solutions tailored to meet specific customer requirements. You'll collaborate closely with the Design Team, contributing to CAD drawings and ensuring the comprehension and update of 2D and 3D drawings as needed. Beyond that, you'll play a pivotal role in organising product testing, maintaining master samples, and actively participating in internal innovation ideation workshops with the Design Team. Additionally, your responsibilities will extend to preparing for product launches and lending a creative touch to annual Colour & Trend reports through the curation of mood boards and sourcing of relevant imagery.

It’s all about … you!

To excel in this design-centric role, you will hold a Bachelor's Degree or relevant certification, coupled with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. Experience with Solidworks, Autocad, or Revit (preferred) is highly valued, showcasing your technical aptitude in design software. Your keen attention to detail is paramount, ensuring precision in interpreting and updating 2D and 3D drawings.
If you are a proactive individual who takes ownership of design tasks, possesses a passion for innovation, and can work autonomously to adapt to the dynamic field of design, this is an opportunity to further develop your skills in a vibrant and ever-evolving industry.
