EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR (Diploma or Certificate III ideally studying or willing to study their diploma)

We are searching for a dedicated and passionate educator, that fits into the culture, of our wonderful team at our family-owned 52 place centre, Little Wallabies Early Learning Centre, at Turramurra on Sydney's upper north shore. You will
be required to work 5 days per week Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day. (Will consider part-time for the right applicant).

We are seeking an experienced educator to join our team. You will be mentored and supported as you contribute to the
program and planning of the children at the service.

To be eligible for the position you need to have:

  • A recognised ACECQA qualification.
  • An understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • Be a team player, be professional, punctual and organised.
  • Have experience planning and implementing programs in an early learning environment (essential for room leader
  • candidates)
  • A minimum of 2 years of childcare experience.
  • Be passionate about working with children and their families and committed to providing high-quality care
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Ideally have strong computer skills with experience programming online.
  • Have a current working with children check and first-aid certificate.
  • Be an Australian Resident or hold a working visa (this is essential).
  • (2) CHILDCARE TRAINEESHIP

Be paid to study while you learn! NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. A childcare traineeship is a great way to find out if a career in childcare is for you.

Due to increased numbers, we have created a new traineeship position. We are currently seeking a highly motivated
individual who is passionate about childcare and dedicated to their own learning to join our team as a Trainee. We will
provide you with a 12-month contract giving you on the job training and resources to complete a Certificate III in
Children's Services whilst being guided and mentored by supportive and experienced educators. You will be paid award
traineeship rates. Our centre is a small family-owned childcare centre with a friendly team of supportive educators, who
are passionate about caring and supporting children as they grow. Our centre caters to children from 0- 5 years.

If you are after a career change or your first job and are considering childcare this is a great opportunity to see if
childcare is for you! You will receive your training by our RTO TAFE and be mentored by our wonderful team of
educators (who are friendly and supportive).
