2022 Controls Technician - TAFE Students Preferred null

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for and take charge of all servicing and commissioning of all BMS systems across a dedicated region in NSW :

• Carry out commissioning, upgrade and service work
• Work with the Controls Engineers and the Manager to ensure timely project outcomes
• Regular interaction with State Service Manager, to monitor and review strategies, review operational needs, problems and opportunities
• Compile Field service Quotes for repairs as required
• Ensuring customer satisfaction through direct liaison with client representatives, customers, and service contacts
• Load and commission software, check system operation and connection, and provide instructions in the use of software programs to clients
• Plan and document maintenance and repair activity
• Assist in product enhancement by gathering market intelligence
• Navigate and interrogate BMS / Security / ICT interfaces

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• HVAC and BEMS Controls experience desirable
• Also open to Qualified Electricians looking to advance their skillset
• Sound operational understanding of network architectures and principles
• Complete understanding of BEMS engineering tools and their functionality would be an advantage
• Proven competence with installation of controls systems and equipment would be beneficial
• Commissioning, complex diagnosis, modifications and repairs
• Ability to provide complex service estimation and quotations
