This role plays a significant contribution in the overall growth of the business, especially when it comes to ensuring risk mitigation on site.

About You

You are an experienced Safety Advisor who is passionate about people’s safety. You can develop, implement, and maintain health and safety programs, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations are adhered to. You're able to conduct safety audits, provide expert advice, and foster a positive safety culture on the construction site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Conduct risk assessments and safety audits
  • Provide safety training and briefings
  • Lead incident investigations and recommend corrective actions
  • Promote a positive safety culture

Qualifications

  • Degree in occupational health and safety or related field
  • Experience in construction safety
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation
  • Professional certification (e.g. Cert IV WHS) preferred
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
