About the Role

Our long-standing relationships and deep knowledge of the insurance industry have seen us recognised as the premier Insurance Law & Litigation practice in Australia. This exciting opportunitity for a part time legal assistant responsbilities will be varied and will include legal administration and personal assistant responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, type, edit, format and proof read letters, memos, briefs and court documents
  • Answer phones, book meetings and manage diaries
  • Prepare monthly client reports and billing
  • Prepare and collate briefs to Counsel
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations and update the database
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders

Skills & Experience

  • Experience supporting in litigation desired
  • Exposure to insurance law is an advantage
  • Certificate in Legal Studies ideal but not essential
