Individual offices is a great initiative especially when you need to take calls or undergo more sensitive work. Specific work requires a closed door to ensure confidentiality and to respect the clients information especially in the case of employment matters or pro bono. The location of the firm is ideal and makes it accessible via public transport.
The dress code is flexible, and will depend on the team. Most teams accept that you won't be extremly formal everyday but you will need to look presentable if you have client meetings, events or court.

Old equipment, old systems, office feels bare. I don't like the facilities, comparing to other firms I have worked at. I like the location of the city.

Perth office is excellent. Sydney office is a bit dark
First year lawyer, Perth - 17 Jul 2024
The Perth office is small in population, but large in size and resources, allowing junior lawyers to have offices.
Lawyer (1st year), Perth - 10 Jul 2024
Dress code is dependent on the team, but it tends to lean more formal than other corporate workplaces I've been in.
Graduate, Melbourne - 10 Jul 2024
K&L has an array of offices for their staff which allows those with them to feel comfortable.
Graduate, Sydney - 09 Jul 2024
The office is in a great location. The dress code is quite casual. You will often see people in active wear if they have no clients to see.
Eagle Street is a great location. Dress code is fine, casual Fridays are casual enough to allow a bit of flexibility.
Casual fridays, other days its business attired but generally flexible - my team is very casual unless they have meetings/court. Juniors I think expected to dress a bit more formally
Rialto Towers are easy to commute to and very well serviced. For example, the building has car parking, end of trip facilities, as well as perks for tenants (ie discounted parking rates). It is also close to public transport. Dress code is dependent on the team you're working in and ranges from smart casual to business attire.
There is lots of office space, great location and facilities for showers/changerooms/bike rakes and more. Dress code is corporate, but is more casual on a Friday and post COVID-19 is overall more casual.
Our office location is premium. I am thankful we just got new coffee machines on each floor, but the microwaves could use an upgrade. I really wish we had electric standing desks (it would be more aligned to modern health and wellbeing standards). The dress code is formal (absent Fridays).
The facilities and the location of the office are top notch. However, there is a lack of space available. At this point it is unclear how next year's lawyers are going to fit given the lack of offices.
I love having my own office.
Dress code is formal (without being over-dressy). The firm's office space, location and facilities are very good, with a very-centralised location in the CBD.
Located in a convenient location in the Sydney CBD the office space is not open plan (which I prefer) and the facilities are decent. Dress code is fairly relaxed, more determined by the supervisor within the practice area there is some leeway in this regard.
I have enjoyed being in open plan during my graduate year. It facilitates being able to ask questions and helps you to meet more people around the office. The office dress code is more casual than expected. Seeing activewear around the office is not unusual.
Graduate, Perth - 25 Jan 2019
Location is very convenient, offices have mostly lots of natural light and views of Sydney or the harbour. I like that most staff have their own offices that can have the door shut when they need a quiet space etc.
Graduate, Sydney - 25 Jan 2019
Our office is in a perfect location in the city with access to everything and plenty of room. Graduate often have their own window office early in their careers. Our dress code is relatively standard, though ties are rare and Friday is funday.
