Sometimes it can be hard to retain knowledge when we have multiple training sessions every day for a week and then they cease. However, most are presented quite well and are useful.

Training received was irrelevant and at the wrong time for what was needed to be known. Ongoing development and training is scarce and largely irrelevant.

A lot of upskilling and training programs run, especially as a graduate.
I have not had much prior experience in an office firm, so most practical legal training I know has been learned in the past 6 weeks.
Still early days, lots of library training so far which is useful. Would be good to have more team specific training when we go into grad rotations
Formal training not great, but within my team the training is fantastic
The firm provides both formal and ad hoc training during the graduate year. Formal training includes areas such as research, drafting and professional development.
We have lots of training sessions on various topics that help us as Graduates navigate research and firm apps.
1 entire week of training and development during graduate program led by great HR department
Lots of training opportunities and lots of training goes on.
I learn more on the job training
The training is awesome at my firm - we are provided with learning and development opportunities at every level (from Graduate all the way up to Partner).
There are regular training programmes for junior lawyers that allow for the development of my skills and expertise on a broad range of legal issues. My supervisor has facilitated the development of my more specific skills by purchasing reading materials to help develop my expertise.
The commercial drafting sessions which were conducted with just the graduates and a partner in a relaxed setting were very helpful and applicable to the tasks I was given.
Graduate, Perth - 25 Jan 2019

The training programs can at times feel a little repetitive and not as innovative as I would personally like.
