Early Childhood Educator - TAFE Students Preferred null

We are a 30 place Community based Occasional Care Centre located in Castle Hill. We are conveniently located to a local primary school and within a 5 minute walk to the Metro and bus interchange. We have two spaces within the centre
that cater to 0-3 (Koalas) and 3-6 (Possums) and share an outdoor space. The centre operates between 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM.

How you will contribute to this role:

• Developing positive relationships that support children, families, and the local community.
• Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children’s interests, strengths, and abilities, whilst encompassing inclusiveness and cultural responsiveness.
• Documenting children’s learning through observations against learning outcomes in line with the Early Years Learning Framework and contributing to the Quality Improvement Plan.
• Supporting management by reviewing centre policies and procedures and building upon quality practice.

Who we are looking for in this role:

• Traineeship in Early Childhood Education (contract position)
• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (Casual & Contract)
• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (Casual & Contract)
