We're expanding and looking for someone keen to join our team and work alongside one of the most experienced paint mixers/colour matchers in the industry.  A fabulous opportunity for a graduate in the field of painting or textiles to expand their knowledge and experience in the art of colour matching and mixing paint colours.  This is a part-time position with a view to permanent.

Responsibilities

  • Mix and tint/eye match colours to formulas, as per customer orders.
  • Paint mixing and tinting as per formulations.
  • Complete tints on time and in accordance with Keim processes.
  • Create and supply paint samples to client specifications.
  • Calculate formulas and convert units of measurements for client orders.
  • All functions in the tint area including stock management, replenishment, formula managements).
  • Manage warehouse including accepting and despatching of orders and ensuring warehouse is always clean and tidy.
  • Ensure the facility is maintained in accordance with 5S principles and in adherence to EHS requirements.

Training and/or experience

  • General warehousing skills.
  • Knowledge of colour mixing practices.
  • Demonstrated colour matching skills.
  • Forklift license (preferred).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of paint 
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management.
