HVAC Field Service Technician (Air Conditioning Technician) – Brisbane - Leading Organisation

A renowned air conditioning corporation is looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to join their team in Brisbane. 
You will be responsible for the service, repair and commissioning of commercial and domestic air-conditioning products in accordance with specifications, compliance requirements and legislation requirements. There is no extensive travel involved.

About the Role:

In this role you will support the customer, the product and company for all service and technical issues.

You will responsible for providing support with installations and supporting the workshop where required.

You will identify and report product issues as well as develop reports with product improvement recommendations.

The role will require you to work closely with customers by providing assistance and training of products as well as addressing any technical issues they may encounter.

You will need to ensure that the job management system is up to date and accurate.

When necessary, you will enjoy the opportunity to contribute further by creating training material and courses for agents and dealers.

Does this sound like you:

• Previous experience as a Field Service Technician is essential
• Able to identify issues with air-conditioning products, repair them and make recommendations
• Able to service air conditioning products to that they perform at their best
• Commissioning experience is desirable but not essential
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
• Able and interested in building relationships with customers, team members and within the extended business partnerships
• Ability to work in a physically demanding role
• Able to work additional hours during peak season
• Highly motivated, eager and result- driven
• Organisational skills including the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner, communicate status and delays if required
• VRF experience will be highly regarded
• Willing to comply with the Company’s Values and Code of Conduct a must
• Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Trade Certificate
• Refrigerant Handling License (full)
• Minimum Restricted Electrical License - EST (state-based) is a must
• OHS General Induction Card is essential
• Drivers Licence essential - with a clean driving record
• First Aid Certificate is desirable but not essential
