This is a great opportunity for students to get a head start on developing some of the core skills and experiences required to work in a law firm. 

Part-time or full-time working hours will be considered for this position. We understand that studying law can be challenging and Kanji & Co is willing to be flexible with the successful applicant’s working hours to accommodate lectures and tutorials.

Position Overview 

To be considered for this position you will need to be in the 1st or 2nd year of your law degree.

Core accountabilities

1. Provide administrative support including:

  • Document preparation 
  • Maintaining company records
  • Filing
  • Photocopying/scanning
  • Assisting with invoices
  • Answering phone calls
  • Creating and managing flowcharts

2. Conducting legal and non-legal research.

3. Managing tasks and projects to deadlines

4. Encourage and assist with the development of a team environment within the office

5. Working in a formal legal environment

6. Maintaining confidentiality.
