The Company

Our MakeSafe team consists of highly trained staff and a specialist trade network and that take pride in protecting damaged residential and commercial properties and making it possible for State Emergency Services to access accident areas safely.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage all emergency aspects of a claim
  • Manage Contractor scheduling & job progress from end to end, while ensuring a strong focus on quality
  • Manage & lead our contractors to achieve quality works to specific deadlines
  • Build relationships with Clients, Customers & Subcontractors
  • Source Subcontractors to build on existing trade base
  • Liaise with all relevant stakeholders to ensure all parties are kept informed throughout the project
  • Work with other team members & business units to achieve targets & budgets
  • Travel across multiple locations within the Sydney Metro region
  • Attend After Hours Projects (where required) to coordinate Emergency Works
  • Assist in prompt & effective complaint resolution
  • Weekly project updates including detailed descriptions on progress of projects & cost reporting

  • Hands-on Building Trade/Construction Labouring experience
  • Strong communication skills – both written & verbal
  • Demonstrated negotiation & analytical skills
  • Ability to work in changing work environments
  • Strong time management & organisational skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships with both internal & external stakeholders
  • Honest nature, positive attitude & sound work ethic
  • Computer literacy
  • Current & valid motor vehicle licence
