Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of insurance jobs from commencement to completion
- Successfully manage multiple works in progress
- Monitor quality audit reports & ensure items are actioned accordingly
- Engage, coordinate & manage trades during the restoration process for - buildings damaged by insurable events
- Communicate & negotiate with trades to track the progress of jobs
- Liaise between clients & insurance companies
- Build beneficial relationships to ensure ongoing repeat business
- Cost Reporting
- Attend & contribute to meetings
- Complete monthly budget reporting on all projects
- Dispute/issue resolution, as required
- Ensure all inspections, certificates of final inspection from the Building Surveyor & relevant documentation are signed off
- Ensure purchase order processes are followed
- Invoicing
- Ensure all company OH&S policies are followed
- Attend sites across the Sydney metro area

The following selection criteria are also important, but we are happy to teach and mentor you along the way.
- Carpentry / Building Trade background
- Cert IV or Bachelor of Building & Construction advantageous, however not essential
- Insurance building experience is highly regarded, however not essential
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
- Strong relationship building skills
- Ability to manage multiple & competing priorities
- Ability to be empathetic to the needs of the client
- Good work ethic
- Computer literacy
- Construction White Card
- Understanding of OHS practices, legislation, regulations & current market rates
- Current motor vehicle licence
