Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of insurance jobs from commencement to completion
  • Successfully manage multiple works in progress
  • Monitor quality audit reports & ensure items are actioned accordingly
  • Engage, coordinate & manage trades during the restoration process for - buildings damaged by insurable events
  • Communicate & negotiate with trades to track the progress of jobs
  • Liaise between clients & insurance companies
  • Build beneficial relationships to ensure ongoing repeat business
  • Cost Reporting
  • Attend & contribute to meetings
  • Complete monthly budget reporting on all projects
  • Dispute/issue resolution, as required
  • Ensure all inspections, certificates of final inspection from the Building Surveyor & relevant documentation are signed off
  • Ensure purchase order processes are followed
  • Invoicing
  • Ensure all company OH&S policies are followed
  • Attend sites across the Sydney metro area

Key Selection Criteria:

Do you have proven examples of demonstrating drive and energy? Are you extremely motivated and can think outside the box? Do you want the opportunity to potentially work your way into a partnership? Being able to demonstrate and highlight examples of these are the key criteria for you to be successful in joining our existing talented and passionate team. The following selection criteria are also important, but we are happy to teach and mentor you along the way.

  • Carpentry / Building Trade background
  • Cert IV or Bachelor of Building & Construction advantageous, however not essential
  • Insurance building experience is highly regarded, however not essential
  • Excellent communication & customer service skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple & competing priorities
  • Ability to be empathetic to the needs of the client
  • Good work ethic
  • Computer literacy
  • Construction White Card
  • Understanding of OHS practices, legislation, regulations & current market rates
  • Current motor vehicle licence
