The Role:
Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity is available for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join Steamatic Global Recovery (SGR).
An Australian leader in fire and smoke remediation, flood restoration, water damage and mould removal, Steamatic take pride in restoring properties to their pre-loss condition, following insurable events.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate & train a team of Supervisors & Technicians
- Oversee small to large project works
- Become proficient in the use & maintenance of specialised equipment, including Sodium Blasters, Dry Ice, Bio Sweep & Freeze Drying
- Work on the tools on smaller projects
- Build strong relationships with clients, franchisees, subcontractors & other stakeholders
- Lead by example & work with team members to achieve targets, budgets & KPI's
- Assist with the creation & monitoring of staff training programs
- Develop & refine standard operating procedures
- Ensure works are completed efficiently, in a cost-effective manner & to a high standard
- Assist in prompt & effective complaint resolution
- Ensure all company OH&S policies are followed

- Hands-on Restoration, Industrial Cleaning or Building Trade background
- Ability to lead & motivate a small team
- Strong organisational skills & attention to detail
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-pressure environment
- Proactive nature & good work ethic
- Honest, trustworthy & a high level of integrity
- Valid Australian driver licence
- Must be flexible & able to travel around Australia for work
