Junior Entry Level Travel Consultant/Assistant null

With Australians travelling more than ever, our team are busier than ever and are needing to expand our itravel family to keep up with our desire to bring the world within reach. With this in mind, we are seeking a junior entry level travel consultant with a passion for learning the tricks of the trade, working as part of a team and generally all things adventure, exploration and travel.

The position is fulltime (Mon – Fri). You will be working as part of a team of highly experienced consultants in an award winning family run business. You will be expected to assist across all levels of consultant’s work, including providing assistance to the entire team when workload dictates. The position is a salary based role, we all work on each other’s clients/bookings. We are one big happy family!

Your key responsibilities include:

• Back Office Client & Itinerary Entry
• Client Documentation
• Liaising with clients, face to face, over the phone and email
• Administrative Support
• Marketing Research
• Itinerary Planning, Quoting and Booking (complete booking process)
• Sales & Product research
• Keeping Up to date with Industry news and products

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a Minimum Cert 3 in Tourism, ideally Cert 5 or Diploma
• Can work independently
• Attention to detail
• Teamwork skills
• Galileo Qualified
• Own Transport (no public transport options)
• Fully Covid Vaccinated
• Australian Resident Only (no working visas)
