Early Learning Educator - TAFE Students Preferred null

Full-time and Part-time (0.6FTE) positions

International Grammar School (IGS) is a vibrant, secular, coeducational School situated across five sites in Ultimo, Glebe, and Kangaroo Valley. There are 1300 students from Preschool to Year 12 being educated in a unique bilingual environment.

We are seeking two highly motivated Educators to join our dynamic exceeding-rated early learning program, which encourages children aged 3-5 years to explore and discover their world and supports the joy of learning another language; our school’s unique offering. We have two positions, a full-time ongoing and a part-time (0.6FTE) ongoing role, commencing Term 3.  

Together with our Early Childhood Teachers you will promote the foundations of a lifelong love of learning immersing children in an intercultural and diverse environment.  

Essential criteria:

• ACECQA recognised Certificate III or Diploma in Early Education and Care
• Current ACECQA approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis, and asthma certifications or willingness to obtain
• Current ACECQA approved Child Protection training or willingness to obtain
• A second language is desirable but not essential
• Availability to work between the hours of 7.00am - 6.00pm. Shifts are scheduled from 7.20am to 6.10pm on the ELC roster; staff enjoy a regular shift
• Understanding of current early education and care legislation and regulations including the EYLF and NQS
• Self-motivation and initiative
• Demonstrated strengths-based approach in working with children and their families
• Sound ICT skills
