You interact directly with customers and internal departments, to determine customer needs and ensure an accurate supply of steel for each major project.

We will consider juniors wanting to enter reinforcing steel supply and experienced schedulers, detailers draftspersons, and provide ample training and support.

  • Coordinate customer requirements in conjunction with Sales, Planning, Production and Operations to accurately forecast customer construction projects.
  • Identify potential production or product solutions, and negotiate changes with customers to reduce scheduling and production costs.
  • Develop and detail workshop drawings in conjunction with the customer for the Prefabricated solutions operations team
  • Generate bar, cutting and bending lists from reading structural and architectural drawings
  • Work with customers to ensure drawings and production schedules meet customer needs
  • Manage enquiries from customers regarding their product status and delivery

It is important that you are a goal-oriented and engaging team player, with a customer-centric focus who enjoys interaction with clients and stakeholders. You will be an enthusiastic and tenacious individual with the following characteristics;

  • Co-ordinate scheduling of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Translate structural and engineering drawings in Blue Beam and/or AutoCAD into a production schedule
  • Demonstrated excellent time management skills in keeping to customers delivery programs
  • Build positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Qualifications in construction, structural/civil engineering or drafting is advantageous
