Position Overview

As a member of the crucial maintenance team, the maintenance technician is responsible for timely breakdown repairs and carrying out preventative maintenance. They will also partake in foundry upgrades as directed by the maintenance lead.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Complete preventative maintenance
  • Repair breakdowns in a timely manner.
  • Updates internal record system to reflect maintenance activities.
  • Maintain safe and efficient manufacturing machinery and equipment, and site infrastructure.
  • Comply with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and WHS management systems
  • Assist in commissioning new foundry equipment / capital project works.
  • Identify potential maintenance issues and correcting them.

Training, Knowledge and skills

  • Able to use of power tools
  • Willing to learn or currently able to weld
  • Good time management and work prioritizing skills
