Our in-house Mechanical design and construction team continues to develop and grow. With our continued success and growth into the NSW market, there is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and aspiring Trainee Drafter to join our team.

Joining HVAC Australia will further your experience and exposure to a variety of New South Wales and Queensland Mechanical Services Design and Construct projects. Being part of our Mechanical division, you will be exposed to healthcare, transport, commercial, retail and specialist mechanical services projects, with some very exciting existing and potential projects on the horizon.

What you will bring to the team:

• Currently studying or willing to undertake a traineeship to become a drafter with an interest in mechanical services in the building sector
• A collaborative approach with our in-house engineering, design and project management team
• A desire to continually learn and improve skills on the job
• Good quality computer skills and digital literacy
• Good written and in person communication skills
• A keen eye for detail

Existing skills using Revit modelling software or computer programming would be considered high, however, is not essential as this will be a key part of the traineeship.

Previous industry experience in a trade-in air conditioning and looking to transition into a design office would also be highly considered, though not essential.
