2022 Apprentice/Qualified Chef - TAFE Students Preferred null

A unique and iconic venue located in a popular food precinct on the foreshore in Newcastle under new management is seeking candidates for a few positions looking to undertake and complete a full-time Commercial Cookery Apprenticeship / Cook / Commis / Demi / junior CDP with their fun-loving, lively, and vibrant team -they are open to applications from candidates starting out and also candidates who may be part way through their apprenticeship and looking to complete their qualification.

These positions would suit someone interested in a fantastic long-term opportunity with an expanding company at a venue that offers delicious food to share with friends, an extensive drinks menu, and entertainment in a relaxed social setting.

• Be available to work on a seven-day rotating roster with a variety of shifts
• Be hardworking and dedicated to career progression
• Ability to work in a busy kitchen team environment
• Be reliable, punctual, keen, and motivated
• Be willing to listen, learn and follow instructions
• Assist with prep, stock rotation, and daily deliveries
• Maintain clean and tidy section
• Under the direction of the head chef and senior chefs able to produce and maintain high standards of quality meals in a timely manner
• Committed to completing Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (for apprentice chef)
• Be dedicated to the three-year Apprenticeship or time remaining on the training contract (for apprentice chef)
