2022 Landscape Gardener - TAFE Students preferred null

We are currently seeking candidates who are either undertaking study within the landscaping (Certification in Landscaping Construction) or horticulture (Certification in Horticulture) fields or who have previous experience in gardening, horticulture and landscaping that are eager to put their skills and knowledge into practice or gain valuable experience whilst completing their studies.

• This is initially a casual/part-time role with the potential for progression to full-time employment

Duties:

Gardening/horticultural & Landscaping works including but not limited to:

• Edges & Lawn mowing
• Weeding, mulching & leaf blowing/raking
• Hedging & pruning of trees and plants
• Spraying & fertilising lawns and garden beds
• Planting and installation of plants & trees
• General labouring duties (movement of soil/mulch, disposal of green waste)
• Paving and landscaping construction projects
• Weed identification and vegetation management
• General site maintenance/housekeeping tasks

Role requirements:

• Provisional or full driver's license
• Physically fit and healthy (due to manual labour work)
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively within a team and unsupervised
• Great communication skills
• All work/jobs are completed for a range of clients (Residential, Commercial and Strata) who deserve only the very best service.
• Pay rate as per experience paid under the Gardeners and Landscapers service award.
