Your role

The Hatch Vacation Student Program provides the opportunity to work on real projects and gain practical industry skills. Hatch will help you through the transition, bridging the gap between your education and career.

The Shared Services group, encompassing Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal, and Facilities, supports the business in achieving its goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. The group ensures the delivery of services through the skills of its people, methodologies, and systems.

As part of the Shared Services Legal team, your Vacation Work duties may include:

  • Assisting our CCL team ( Commercial, Contracts, and Corporate Legal Services ) with contractual requirements
  • Assisting Senior in-house counsel and commercial managers with legal research projects
  • Assisting with company secretarial matters
  • General administrative duties as required

About you

You will have (or be working towards) a bachelor’s degree in law, with a solid academic record, ideally in your third year (or later) of study, and interested in applying your legal studies to the real world. Successful candidates will also have excellent interpersonal skills and a strong passion for working closely in a team environment to solve complex problems.

The 12-week program commences on Monday, 18 Nov 2024. Please note, during this time Hatch will have its annual office closure from COB Friday, 20 December 2024, and will reopen Monday, 6 January 2025.
