The Hatch Vacation Student Program provides the opportunity to work on real projects and gain practical industry skills. Hatch will help you through the transition, bridging the gap between your education and career.
As part of the Climate Change team, you will work in a professional, team-based, multi-disciplinary engineering environment and develop problem solving skills pertaining to greenhouse gas abatement and physical adaptation and resilience. You will be given the opportunity to participate in project-based work including compilation of GHG inventories, evaluation of low emission processes and technologies , decarbonisation strategy development and climate risk assessments.

You will be working towards a bachelor's/master’s degree in Chemical engineering, ideally in your third year (or later) of study, with a strong academic record. Candidates will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and will be collaborators with the ability to think laterally and innovatively to solve problems. You will also have an interest in exploring a future with a global consulting company and are committed to creating positive change.
The 12-week program commences on Monday, 18 Nov 2024. Please note, during this time Hatch will have its annual office closure from COB Friday, 20 December 2024, and will reopen Monday, 6 January 2025.
