Looking to take the next step in your career and want to work on major railway projects? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Graduate Rail Engineer to join their Rail team in Brisbane where you will:

  • Prepare engineering calculations, project standard specifications, design reports and other technical deliverables
  • Prepare scopes of work, technical specifications and data sheets for civil/rail infrastructure and collaborate with other disciplines 
  • Work with designers to provide engineering input to 3D model and drawing development 
  • Respond to technical queries raised during the construction phase and commissioning of systems on site as required

About you

What you bring to the role:

  • You have or are working towards a Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with a strong academic record.
  • You will bring leadership and teamwork skills, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, along with an ability to think laterally and innovatively.
  • Flexibility to travel and work in locations within Australia and internationally is a bonus, but not essential.
  • Finally, Hatch is looking for candidates that have a passion and drive to make a real difference.
