We’re looking for a confident, engaging, relationship builder to join our People & Performance team as a Product Trainer. This is a permanent, full-time role based at our Prestons location.

Reporting to our Technical Training Manager, you will have a fundamental role within our supportive and dynamic People & Performance team – and the wider GWA business – as you’ll develop and execute training programs that support the skills and competency needs of our customers and team members. In addition, you will:

  • Ensure all training created and delivered is suitable for the broader GWA customer base (plumbers and merchants) and GWA team members, as well as aligned to our ‘Win the Plumber’ strategic focus.
  • Deliver product training in both digital and face-to-face environments, for groups or individuals.
  • Work with subject matter experts to understand target audience training needs and ensure the relevancy of content, scenarios, assessments etc.
  • Design and develop effective and engaging learning assets for classroom, online and blended delivery to support learning needs.
  • Apply end-to-end training project management skills from analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of projects.

About you

A natural communicator and presenter, our successful candidate will:

  • Be energetic and engaging, with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Be a confident, articulate operator who is comfortable delivering training to a variety of seniorities and teams within our business, as well as our wider customer base.
  • Have the desire to quickly learn about GWA’s product range and continuously build on that understanding.
  • Have a technical mindset, with the ability to convey information practically.
  • Have a background in creating and conducting training.
  • Be able to create strong visual training collateral.
  • Be driven and positive in their outlook.

An understanding of, or background in, plumbing would be ideal - and it would be great if you have experience using eLearning tools.

What’s on offer?

Aside from a supportive, collaborative culture where you’ll be set up for success and know that you’re making a real difference from day one, we’ll also offer you:

  • Hybrid working options
  • Free, onsite parking at our Prestons location.
  • Competitive remuneration and bonus structures
  • An immersive onboarding program to set you up for success
  • Opportunities to learn and grow through our Learning & Development programs
  • Paid parental leave program
  • ‘Great Rewards’ program - exclusive access to discounts and cashback rewards at your favourite stores
  • ‘Bathrooms & More’ program - great discounts on a wide range of our products
  • Volunteer and Community Service Leave
  • Option to purchase additional annual leave

As well as other great benefits like discounted health insurance, financial advice, annual flu vaccinations, access to a range of online fitness programs via our Wellbeing Centre...and much more!
