We are looking to engage trainees of Certificate III and Diploma trained Early Childhood Educators to join our Gootha Blossom (nursery) team on either a full-time or part-time basis. Our setting is small and delivered from a beautiful federation home on the boundary of Paddington and Centennial Park. We are an eco-friendly centre with an emphasis on organic food and environmentally sustainable products and practices. The provision and implementation of learning programs for all ages is fundamental to our service. We run a bush kindy program twice weekly. We are committed to ongoing professional development and we encourage all educators to pursue further education.


Essential:

• Genuine interest in and a love of learning for all ages
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Strong pedagogical practices and awareness
• Excellent communication skills with families and staffs
• Working toward or a completed Children Services Cert III or Children Services Diploma

Our centre is open from 7.30 am until 6.00 pm. The permanent full-time position is 38 hours per week across 5 days and the permanent part-time position is a minimum of 3 days per week.
