Opportunity Expired
As a Senior Farm Hand, we would rely on you to monitor plant development, organise propagation and oversee the harvesting and packaging of the product, with sustainability front of mind. As a result, we would expect you to have a thorough understanding of horticultural principles. Experience with hydroponic growing and vertical farming would be a bonus but not a requirement. We will take you through the system so that you will be able to maintain the optimum growing environment. You will need to understand the system to also be able to make minor adjustments and report any issues. We would expect you to be able to work independently and with external customers to meet their current, future and ongoing requirements. Therefore, good communication skills are essential.
Greenspace is all about quality, flexibility and sustainability. We would expect you to work more broadly with the team working on the Darling Park site but also potentially from other farm sites. You would be part of a team and your input into identifying new varieties for cultivation and new revenue streams would be important. Likewise, we are a sustainable organisation and have a zero-waste approach, we use organic horticulture principles and limit the use of resources wherever possible. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.
