You will work towards proficiency in the areas of technical operations that are required to televise a wide variety of programs, including live sports, entertainment shows and special events. You will be exposed to both field/location roles as well as studio-based roles.

Our Trainee Broadcast Technician Role

The role is within the Broadcast Operations division where you will report to the Operations Manager. You will work towards proficiency in the areas of technical operations that are required to televise a wide variety of programmes, including live sports, entertainment shows and special events. You will be exposed to both field/location roles as well as studio-based roles.

The role does not require prior knowledge of television technical procedures or prior experience. You will have the opportunity for on-the-job training in multiple roles as well as completing a Cert IV in Television Production through NSW TAFE.

The role is full-time for an initial period of one year and is based in Mascot and Artarmon. Frequent travel around NSW and interstate is part of the job. Successful completion of the Cert IV could result in ongoing employment with Gravity Media.
