About Us

Genesis Traffic is a dynamic and vibrant traffic planning and design consultancy located in Pymble. We are a busy consulting practice working within the building design domain specialising in car park design and assessments. We work closely with architects and developers to progress their developments from concept to construction.

Opportunity

We currently have two part time opportunities available for enthusiastic Design or Drafting graduates/students to join our team and gain practical experience in a nurturing working environment. We will train you with the necessary technical skills to undertake various tasks, including assisting engineers/senior engineers with:

• Navigating architectural plans using AutoCAD.
• Reviewing car park and access designs according to AS2890 criteria.
• Testing car park adequacy using AutoTurn.
• Generating compliance checks and reports.
• Handling general administrative matters.

Criteria

If you believe you meet the below description and are eager to gain practical experience in the field of traffic and transport planning, we encourage you to apply. 

• Currently enrolled/recently completed courses relating to building design or residential drafting.
• Available for at least 2 days per week, starting from March. 
• Proactive in nature, displaying a readiness to take on responsibilities.
• Attentive to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Takes pride in executing tasks effectively and efficiently.

Salary Expectations

Salary expectations $25 to $40 per hour depending on experience.
