Role Purpose:

The Trainee Tradesperson/Fitter is a key role in contributing to the construction equipment, company fleet and site materials are in good working order and distributed on time and safely to the business across its' projects. This position will provide the incumbent with ongoing hands-on experience. Although based in our warehouse, this position offers an exciting mix between warehouse and fitting. This role also offers an opportunity for short term travel for service equipment.

The primary role of a Mechanical Fitter is to provide maintenance, repairs and diagnostics on various specialised engineering equipment for large civil projects.

As a Trainee Tradesperson/Fitter with Freyssinet Australia you will be trained and develop skills in the following:

• Maintenance, service and repair
• Preventative maintenance programs
• Daily checks
• Troubleshooting

Qualifications:

• Currently studying / near the commencement
• Forklift License (Desired, however, can be provided)
• Driver's License

Skills & Experience:

• Currently studying with 1-2 years' industry experience
• Intermediate PC skills including word, excel and outlook
• WH&S experience/awareness proficiency
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• Excellent people, organisational and time management skills
• A "can-do" attitude with a sense of urgency with the ability to meet deadlines and work without supervision
