About us

Fido & Fido is a contemporary dog groomer and designer dog wear salon in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. We’re a team of 10 talented, fun and passionate people who love dogs and take our grooming very seriously. We have a beautiful state-of-the-art salon with brand new equipment and a client base of some of the most charming and beautiful dogs you will ever meet. As well as grooming, Fido & Fido offers a full range of dog services including walking, daycare, training, retail and a dog resort in the Blue Mountains.

This role can be full-time or part-time with flexible hours to suit the right candidate.

Qualifications & experience

• You will have a minimum of 6 months of experience in assisting a groomer/s with shampooing and drying dogs, performing hygiene treatments and managing the bathing area
• You will have good communication skills, outstanding animal handling skills and feel passionate about working within a fun and committed team environment

Tasks & responsibilities

• shampoo dogs - taking care to choose the correct shampoo for skin and coat type
• perform dental hygiene, ear cleaning and anal gland express
• dry dogs - taking care to use the correct nozzle for various coat types
• maintenance of wet area, keeping it tidy and in good working order
• support groomers with their needs in caring for dogs
