What if your career could have a lasting impact on you, and on the world?

At EY we believe that whoever you are, your uniqueness helps us stand apart. We bring together extraordinary people, like you, to build a better working world. Through our coaching and training programs, you’ll develop the skillsets you need to stay relevant today, and in the future – all while building a network of colleagues, mentors, and leaders who will be on the journey with you at EY and beyond. The exceptional EY experience. It's yours to build.

What’s in it for you?

As part of our Financial Services Audit team, we’ll help you achieve your career goals with early responsibility and continuous support. Working alongside experienced professionals, you’ll help execute high-quality financial statement audits in addition to providing independent and objective review of internal controls and other risks that are integral to a company’s reporting. In return, we’ll provide you with the tools, the tech and the opportunities so you can inspire change and open doors. You can expect leading-edge learning and development tailored to your unique interests and motivations, including support in undertaking the Chartered Accountants Program.

Your key responsibilities

  • Constantly developing your understanding of current market trends and processes
  • Participating in audit processes with appropriate consideration of audit risk issues and accounting technical matters, including revenue, financial instruments, and income taxes
  • Engaging with clients and providing advice, including identification of areas for improvement in clients’ business processes
  • Understanding our clients’ unique ambitions and needs and referring them to colleagues in other teams and areas to broaden our business relationships where possible

Eligibility

To apply for our Graduate Program, you are required to be:

  • Completing your Diploma in 2023
  • An Australian or New Zealand citizen, or an Australian permanent resident
  • Be available to start full time work in December 2023

What you can expect

  • All candidates are required to submit an online application attaching their passport (or alternative ID), CV and academic transcript
  • All eligible candidates will be invited to complete a Job Simulation assessment which includes some video response questions
  • Once we review your application and assessment results, you may be invited into an interview or Recruitment Day

We recommend applying early as we will be recruiting on an ongoing basis, and positions will close once filled.

Please note we have a rigorous recruitment process in place for our student program roles and so it may take us some time to get back to you.
