The opportunity            

We have an exciting opportunity for casual outbound Market Research telephone interviewers! This role requires a high level of customer relations, data entry and written and verbal communications skills. Applicants with attention to detail, ability to keep up-to-date with changes and developments and maintaining a professional attitude in a fast paced environment will be highly considered for the role.

EY Sweeney is a fully integrated part of the EY Consulting business, offering research and strategy planning services to a wide range of businesses across Australia. We are a major player in the market research industry, with a client-centric, outcome-driven approach. Our Consulting division provides recommendations to our clients based on market research data, and the quality of this work has won some of Australia’s largest projects in the market research industry.

 Available shifts are:

  • Weekdays | 3:00 pm - 8:30 pm
  • Weekends | 9:30 am - 5:00 pm

If successful during the interviewing stage, applicants will be contacted for a paid training and briefing session to be held at our South Melbourne Office. Induction and Training attendance is mandatory to be considered for the role.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Handle outbound calls by conducting telephone interviews with respondents.
  • Enter the answers from the respondents into the surveys accurately.

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Minimum availability of 3 shifts per week
  • Eligibility to work in Australia (International students/WHV holders welcome)
  • Exceptional Written and Verbal communication skills
  • A polite & professional telephone manner, excellent communication skills with respondents, stakeholders, and the greater EY Sweeney team
  • Demonstrated fluency in spoken and written English - excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling is required
  • Ability to understand and follow correct procedures with minimal errors
  • Ability to learn on the job as well as embrace ongoing training and developmen
  • A strong interest in the data collection process and adherence to data integrit
  • Proven understanding of the standards relating to quality data in market research (accuracy, consistency and integrity)
  • Experience in market research will be highly regarded but not essential

  • Hourly rate: $28.41 to $31.77 + 10.5% Superannuation
