OSHC 2IC Educator - TAFE Students Preferred null

The Opportunity

Extend children at Our Lady of the Rosary in Kensington are looking for an OSHC Service Assistant to play, teach and take care of them in a safe learning environment at After School Care.

The Role

• After School Care 2:45 PM-6:00 PM.
• Holiday care up to 6 hours per day.
• Assist in delivering daily quality activities for children that are safe, fun, stimulating and carry educational value.
• Willing to step up as a Coordinator.
• Supervise and support children.
• Prepare and serve healthy food options.
• Create an engaging and happy environment for children.
• Build meaningful relationships with your colleagues, the children, families, school leaders and the school community.

About You

• Engaging and warm personality.
• Strong focus on child safety and appreciation for mandatory reporting.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• You hold Certificate III or higher in Children’s Services (or studying towards) or equivalent which can be recognised for children's services.
• Working with Children Check (willing to obtain).
• HLTAID012 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training (willing to obtain).
• Available to work Monday to Friday.
