Childhood Educator - TAFE Students Preferred null

We are looking to employ a Childhood EDUCATOR, who will be committed to offering high quality Education and care to the children in the Mittagong, Southern Highlands community.

These are permanent full time positions, however Part Time will be considered for the appropriate candidate. The center opening hours are 7am-6pm Monday to Friday

Qualifications required are:

• Certificate 3 in Early Childhood education
• Working with Children Check
• Training in relation to special needs and inclusion support is desirable

Relevant skills:

• Organise developmental programs for children's learning.
• Organise appropriate resources for children's learning and meets children's learning outcomes by providing experiences through play and learning
• Maintains health and safety and all areas of child protection and supervision.
• Promotes inclusion for children
• Supports and trains less experienced staff
• Supervision of children, junior staff and mentor other educators in the room
• Programming of daily activities.
• Organisation and general management of room.
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard
