The Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Early Childhood Educator / Teacher to join and collaborate with a highly skilled and qualified team of like-minded Early Childhood Educators/ Teachers.

By adopting 'PlaySpaces' and 'Circle of Security' through your interactions and practices, you will create a calm, nurturing environment where children can love learning through our play-based curriculum, acquire life skills, and be supported in reaching their full potential.

Bringing education to life, you will accompany children to local landmarks such as the park and local beaches, guiding them on exciting journeys and building relationships within our community.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design, implement and reflect upon a high-quality play-based curriculum that nurtures individual child needs and supports learning through a well-planned learning environment.
  • Maintain a safe, hygienic, and supportive environment for children with accurate records, and implement policies and procedures.
  • Contribute positively, understand NQF and ethics, follow policies, participate in quality improvement, maintain support, and stay current with best practices.
  • Promote positive relationships, effective communication, quality services, team support, and community building while upholding children's dignity and rights.

How you will flourish in this role:

As the ideal candidate, you will hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or higher) and be inspired to work alongside and nurture children throughout their early years.
