2022 Fabricator/Welder - TAFE Students Preferred null

With locations in Victoria and New South Wales, the company is experiencing continued growth and expansion, and they are looking for experienced Fabricators/ Welders to work out of their manufacturing premises in Campbelltown.

About the Role

Etched is seeking an experienced and proactive Fabricator/ Welder. In this role you will complete basic metal working practices including cutting, marking out/ folding/ forming, bending and basic machining to a high standard. To be successful in this role you will possess high attention to detail, quality assurance, a good attitude towards work and your fellow team members and be reliable.

Skills and Expertise:

• Must be able to read plans
• Have at least 2-3 years experience in metal fabrication
• Experienced in aluminium as well as steel welding
• Also, need to be experienced in cutting and grinding of aluminium and steel
• Be able to use hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment, as well as other machines to mark out, cut, shape and join a variety of sheet metal materials
• Have the ability to learn quickly and take instructions well.
• Have high attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work
• Be able to work within a small team and unsupervised when required
• A trade qualification is highly regarded, however not essential
