Position/Title:  Graduate Engineer

Eka provides innovative commodity bulk material management systems to the mining and grain industries. Our clients are large multinationals with a global presence in commodities markets. We are looking for Graduate Engineer to join our Adelaide-based project team, to start immediately.

You will establish solid working relationships within the project delivery team and with our clients to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard that exceeds customer expectations.

Competencies, experience, and knowledge

• Basic knowledge and understanding of the processes involved in the design, implementation, and commissioning of automation systems
• Understanding of relational databases & Structured Query Language (SQL)
• Strong time-management, documentation, and reporting skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to think outside the box and problem solve independently or as a team
• An understanding of control system architectures, PLC system design, and basic programming techniques
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Able to work within a team in a variety of roles
• Ability to work independently

Experience in the following would be highly regarded but NOT essential:

• Experience with ISAgraf, Beckhoff, GeFanuc, Schneider, and Allen Bradley PLC's
• Knowledge of industrial communications standards
• Knowledge of business process analysis
• Knowledge of XML standards and tools
• Knowledge of .Net and C# development
