Your Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Interact with customers, taking orders, operating the POS, and serving food and beverages to the customers.
• Assist the baristas to serve coffee, cold drinks, tea and other beverages items.
• Selling and upselling our product offerings which includes food, beverages and retail items (coffee beans and brewing equipment)
  Engage customers in meaningful conversations about our premium coffee offerings, sharing insights into origins, flavour profiles, and brewing techniques to enhance their coffee knowledge and appreciation.
• Assist customers in retail product queries and convert them to sales.
• Work towards KPI and sales target.
• General cleaning duties which include washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, clearing and wiping tables.
• Collaborate seamlessly with fellow baristas and team members, supporting each other to maintain a smooth workflow during peak hours and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Cultivate a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, providing attentive and personalized service to create a memorable experience for every customer.

Requirements:

• Proven at least 2 years of experience as a specialty coffee all-rounder, by demonstrating the skills listed below:
• A good knowledge of specialty coffee and able to communicate the coffee origins to customers in a professional manner that is engaging and leading the conversations toward sales.
  Able to demonstrate basic barista skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers in informative and enjoyable conversations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask effectively, and maintain composure under pressure.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to accommodate the needs of our customers.
• High standards of professionalism, hygiene, and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, team player mentality, and a strong work ethic.
