Position Objective
To deliver a high-quality, evidence-based Remedial Massage Therapy service to Dynamic Performance Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine (DPP&SM) clients in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and, most importantly, the client themselves, to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Key Accountabilities
• Delivery of high-quality evidenced based Remedial Massage Therapy to the DPP&SM client, in alignment with the DPP&SM philosophy of client-centered, solution-targeted, collaborative care.
• To practice within the Competency Standards for the Diploma of Remedial Massage as set down by The Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) (Refer to: http://massagenetwork.com.au/wp- content/uploads/Competency-Standards-Australia.pdf)
• To proactively seek to improve own clinical practice and standards (Professional Development) both independently and collaboratively, seeking guidance and support when necessary
• To participate and contribute to the Education Program
within Dynamic Performance Physiotherapy and Sports
Medicine.
• To participate and assist the Practice Manager in the
development and delivery of the Dynamic Performance Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine strategic plan, including basic administrative tasks after hours.
• To participate and contribute to DPP&SM-supported community events, with the aim of raising personal profiles and the profile of Dynamic Performance Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine.
• To adhere to, promote, and practice in compliance with the DP Work Health and Safety Guidelines at all times, including participation in risk management activities and incident reporting.
