Scope of role:

As an HR graduate, you'll provide support to both employees and the HR team to ensure the smooth functioning of HR-related activities. You will work on numerous rotations and projects that could include:

  • Employee Lifecycle Management
  • HR Policies and Procedures
  • Data Management and HR Systems
  • Employee Benefits and Compensation
  • Employee Support and Query handling
  • HR Reporting and Analytics
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Compliance and Legal Requirements
  • Industrial Relations Management

Graduates will work across a range of Projects throughout the course of the program. One of the main projects you will work on will include looking into the candidate selection process rebuilt for blue collar roles. You will work with the broader HR team, local and global IT team and SMEs to build a new process in our HRIS, Oracle. This will involve organisation skills, project management, communication and stakeholder management.

DP World is looking for graduates who are looking to build a career as an HR expert, specifically in a global organisation where you will become knowledgeable on all areas of HR policies, procedures and processes. You will be enthusiastic about understanding the inner workings of the business and how to apply that to the industry, employees and workforce. Ideally, you will have a degree in the following:

  • Bachelor of Business/Commerce
  • Bachelor of Laws
  • Bachelor of Industrial Relations

Locations:

Our IT Graduates work onsite at our Head Office in Sydney. This will give you the very best opportunity to learn from your peers and teammates and really helps with a sense of belonging. The location of these positions is outlined below and will be dependent on your rotation:

  • DP World Sydney Head Office (AHO - Australian Head Office) - Level 40, 25 Martin Place, Sydney NSW 2000
  • DP World Sydney Terminal (PBT - Port Botany Terminal) - 42 Friendship Rd, Port Botany NSW 2036

What to do next:

To be eligible for our Graduate Program you'll need:

  • To have completed your studies (within the last two years i.e. 2021, 2022, 2023) and be ready to start full-time by February 2024
  • Have the Right to Work - be a permanent resident or Australian or New Zealand citizen at the point of application
