We currently have a rewarding opportunity for new graduates to join the business in our GROW Graduate Program. We are driving this initiative to provide fresh graduates an opportunity to kick start their careers with a reputable global organisation. This is a 2-year program with the scope to transition into permanent opportunities. 
With personal and professional learning and the chance to work cross functionally in your rotations, regardless of your speciality you will be offered the chance to pick up new skills and knowledge that will enhance all future placements.

Scope of role:

As an Engineer working at DP World in our GROW Graduate Program, you will be deployed on real life projects from day one, allowing you to make a real impact on your rotations. You will gain experience within our Ports & Terminals and Logistics businesses which could include developing asset reliability and efficiency programs, electrification and sustainability projects or major infrastructure and asset expansion programs.

You will work on different rotations across the course of your program which may consist of:

  • Training with our Engineering Team and Terminal Operating Systems Team to learn and understand where engineering skills are applied within our Container Parks. Graduates will have exposure and experiences with Mechanical, Civil and Electrical Automation engineers and will interface daily with Trade teams tasked with maintaining terminal assets.
  • Training with our Engineering team and Terminal Operating Systems team to learn, practice and enhance our IT/OT systems and automation with our Automated Stacking Cranes (ASC).

Who are you:

You will have a degree in a STEM subject ideally within a non-chemical engineering, math or related discipline. Suitable qualifications include:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical)
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mechatronics)
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Robotics/Industrial Automation)

What to do next:

To be eligible for our Graduate Program you'll need:

  • To have completed your studies (within the last two years i.e. 2021, 2022, 2023) and be ready to start full-time by February 2024
  • Have the Right to Work - be a permanent resident or Australian or New Zealand citizen at the point of application
