Barratt & Smith/ Douglass Hanly Moir, New South Wales' premier pathology practice, has positions available locally.

Full-time hours: Monday to Friday (5 days per week), plus participation in the Saturday roster. Part-time & casual positions will also be considered

PATHOLOGY COLLECTORS

Your primary duties, as a member of our busy pathology team, will be to take blood and other specimens from patients and to provide basic medical tests, such as ECGs and Holter monitoring.

The successful applicants must be honest, reliable, able to work as part of a professional team and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also be required to complete a comprehensive training program. Previous recent venepuncture is not essential.

This role would suit a person who is considering a career change or re-entering the workforce who is looking to develop a career in health.

All successful applicants are required to provide documentary evidence of the following, prior to commencement:

  • A current First Aid certificate (HLTAID011)
  • Vaccinations (as per our website)
  • A current driver's licence
