A permanent Support Services (Laboratory Aide) position is currently available within the Specimen Reception and Data Entry Department of DHM Pathology at our Port Macquarie laboratory.  The position is part time with participation in the weekend roster. Shifts and hours can be discussed at interview.

The position requires a person willing to multi-skill in numerous areas, including unpacking, coding and preparation of pathology specimens for testing, report sorting, data entry and results enquiries. Excellent typing skills are essential. A background in pathology laboratory services and medical terminology is preferred.

 The successful applicant will be an honest, reliable and flexible team player displaying a highly motivated and competent approach to work and work ethic. The suitable candidate must be able to interact well with people, demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to integrate within a goal focused, professional and supportive environment.
