Positions have become available for part-time/full-time Customer Service Operators in the Results Department of Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology’s head office at Macquarie Park.
Shifts include days, evenings, weekends and public holidays, and require the flexibility to work until midnight on some shifts.
Duties will include answering large volumes of incoming calls, as well as making outgoing calls to doctors’ rooms and hospitals, and performing clerical tasks to keep our busy department working smoothly.
The successful applicants will have excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to work independently in a busy environment, good customer service skills and be highly self-motivated. The ability to use a computer is essential, however, full training will be provided.
For this position, you must have a background in pathology, medical reception, medical science or a related field. After working for 12 months in the Results Department, suitably qualified applicants will have the opportunity to progress to a scientific role in the laboratory, if desired.
Salary and conditions are according to the Health Professionals and Support Services Award.
We are close to public transport and secure onsite parking is available.
