Responsibilities

  • Computer Technicians install and maintain computer servers, configure new systems, and resolve any IT issues for both internal employees and external customers.
  • Handle front-line customer support and technical assemblies of hardware
  • Manage day-to-day operational support for server, storage, and network infrastructure
  • Workstation and server build involving software installation and configuration.
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems application software and system management tools to ensure infrastructure availability.
  • Performing diagnostic tests, resolving errors, and making sure the system runs correctly.

Qualification

  • Certification II of ComputerAssembly and Repair; or
  • Certification IV in Information Technology (Release 2); or relevant certification of IT Hardware and Software;
  • Basic knowledge of Servers & Storage Hardware

Skills Required 

  • Knowledge and experience with installing, deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting software, computer hardware and servers, and technical infrastructure. 
  • Customer-focused, willing to learn, and a  team player with a “can-do” attitude.
  • Basic Networking knowledge.
  • Some experience in OS, such as Window server.
  • Good customer service.
  • Excellent English communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with other team members and stakeholders
