    Our graduates will gain a unique insight into the diverse work undertaken by the department which ranges from information technology, human resources, library services, Hansard and broadcasting, communications and media, capital works projects, security, trades, catering and events and visitor services.

    The program will run over a 12-month period and focus on building graduate skills, capabilities and knowledge of the Parliamentary Service. Graduates will commence at the Parliamentary Service Level 3 (PSL3) classification and upon successful completion of the program, advance to the base of the PSL4 classification.

    We welcome applications from graduates who have completed, or will complete by January 2022, an undergraduate degree or higher in one of the following disciplines:

    • Security Policy
    • Information Technology, particularly in one or more of the following areas; Web Development, ICT Security Architecture, Software Development, ICT Security Governance, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering.

    Successful graduates will be highly motivated, innovative and willing to learn new skills in a collaborative team environment. Graduates should also:

    • embody excellent communication skills
    • operate with respect, integrity and ethical behaviour
    • provide high-quality customer service, and
    • be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
