Your role

Their NextGen Sales Program was created to build the next generation of Dell Technologies sales leaders. Through an industry-leading training and enablement program, they are focused on developing ambitious talent along an accelerated career path. You will be given the opportunity to learn from business leaders across the organization, deepening your industry knowledge through a structured learning environment.

You will:

  • Perform outbound sales activities such as cold calling, lead follow-up, and sales qualifications and offer an extension to new and/or existing B2B enterprise customers and create demand in unpenetrated areas of large Tier 1 accounts.
  • Develop effective Dell Technologies messaging while uncovering opportunities to be passed to Outside Account Executives and develop Account Management Skill Set, by offloading critical tasks from the Account Executives
  • Daily tasks will include prospecting, asset management, and contact acquisition, meeting activity metrics for outbound calls, appointments and opportunities identified.
  • Maintain contact with customers to ensure customer satisfaction, and issue resolution and help to drive the expansion of Dell Technologies’ footprint, and provide an improved customer experience by offering immediate response and feedback.
  • Complete development curriculum to demonstrate core strengths needed to progress to Inside Sales role.

Join Dell Technologies as an Inside Sales Associate on their Next Generation Sales Academy team in Australia to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.

Over the course of 2 to 3 years, you will engage in an intense program that will prepare you for long-term success within the Dell Technologies Sales organization. Anyone who joins their organization starts as an Associate Inside Sales Rep where you’ll receive premier training from both a technology and sales perspective. You’ll be in that role anywhere from 12 to 18 months, depending on how you perform, and then you’ll have the opportunity to advance to become an Inside Sales Rep where you’ll carry a quota and run all aspects of a sales campaign. They typically see people staying in the Inside Sales Rep role for another year and a half before ultimately moving on to their next position, whether it be field sales, sales management, or a specialty selling role.
