Job description:

  • Cumani Racing are a progressive racing stable located outside of Ballarat.
  • We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Digital Marketing intern to join our growing team, on a part time basis (3 days per week).
  • The role is initially for a six month period, however, for the right person, a more permanent role will be on offer after that time.
  • The successful applicant will be responsible for implementing and executing all things social media, including emails, social media campaigns, developing marketing strategies and building brand awareness.
  • We’re looking for a team player and someone who can grow with the business.
  • An interest and knowledge in the racing industry would be a huge advantage but is not essential.

Position includes:

  • Helping to create and implementing digital marketing strategies in line with the Cumani Racing brand
  • Executing engaging campaigns across multiple channels (emails, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn accounts) on a weekly basis
  • Monitoring campaigns and reporting on results on a weekly basis
  • Monitoring and replying to emails / communicating with Owners in a professional and timely manner
  • Assisting with photography / videography
  • Using a range of editing platforms such as Canva, Photoshop and more
  • Building Owner data base through social media platforms
  • Website maintenance

Successful applicant requires:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (this is a must!)
  • Attention to detail in your written work including spelling and grammar
  • Confidence with all social media platforms
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with new and existing Owners
  • Organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to bring new ideas and show initiative to the team
  • Ability to work collaboratively within other areas of the business
  • A confident and professional manner
  • A positive attitude, a team player and a dedicated work ethic

Salary:

  • Negotiable, depending on level of experience
